We’ve all been to weddings venues; the cocktail hour with sterno cans ablaze, enough food to feed a small country, the DJ with the blow up guitars. Tables for 12 border the dance floor, music that makes conversation, well, mute . . . . it makes for a fun night and then gets repeated the next night and the next week and the next month.

A Gables wedding something a little different, it’s like inviting your friends and family to a great old house and opening it for a very personal party. The menu is designed for you utilizing your family traditions. Our chefs are European trained and the menu will be a reflection of your tastes and style. Be it pigs in blankets to foie gras en croute, your meal will be remembered as some of the finest food your guests have ever had.

The Gables has four distinct dining areas for your event:
The Red Room, with six French doors and a wood-burning fireplace
The Gold Room which adjoins the Front Porch with two sets of French doors
The Veranda, a small dining room just off the Gold Room The Front Porch with Victorian gingerbread trim and peaked ceiling and a fireplace provides even more seating.

Our weddings start at 135 per person and include five handmade assorted appetizers of your choice, available as a stationary buffet or butler passed and a sit down dinner or buffet with three choices of entrée per guest.

There is no facility fee, all linens and tableware are included, a rose on the table, stemware, candles…beautiful furnishings and appointments all make for complete elegance at no extra charge.
